We have a number of different breeds of mares. They vary in size too. Crossing our stallions with Hackney Ponies to Clydesdales gives us a variety of foal types to suite the interests of our customers. We also produce a number if purebreds each year as well.
Foals may also be "custom made" . By that we mean that you may choose from our mare herd which mare that you want bred and to which of our stallions to "custom make the foal" of your choice.
What a deal. You have no stud fee, no mare care, no vet bills through out the pregnancy. All that you need to do is simply pay Excalibur the down payment, we breed the mare, we care for the mare and we foal out the mare. You may make payments until the weaning of the foal and pick it up at weaning time. How simple is that? It's very cost effective as well.

Sierra is our Azteca mare. She is a sweet, cautious mare, and an excellent mother. Always thinking. Her past foals have all been exceptional and many have excelled in the dressage.

Keera, what can we say, a tad eccentric and has a wild hair! But will love you up every chance she gets. She was blinded in one eye as a young horse, but was a State Champion National Show Horse before the accident. She has beautiful foals and has a home here at Excalibur, for the rest of her life.
Theyen's Special is her name and she is a registered Hackney Pony. She is older and we have given her the year off. But as she is a great producer, she will be bred in the spring of 2010. She is 20 years old and has the body of a ten year old. She has had three Friesian cross foals. She is the mother to Divo, see him on the sold page. You've got to see this mare trot! She is really a high stepper.

Skampi is a Pinto that has produced so many foals we have lost count. She is close to 20 years old and is an excellent mother. On 6/03/2009 Skampi produced a spotted filly by Keefe, our 1st premie stallion. Approximately 50% of her foals have been spotted and this one is too. see her on the for sale page.

She is a Friesian/Thoroughbred mare that is registered with the Friesian Blood Horse Registry. She has been with us many years and is a daughter of the popular Friesian stallion Nero. She has many beautiful foals to her credit. Carmen is available for the "custom made" program. You may choose her stallion for the 2010, 3/4 Friesian breeding.
