What Brenda says aboyt Tim:
I've known Tim for 34 1/2 years now and we've been married for 32 of those years so I think I know him pretty well. He works, loves and lives by what his heart tells him. What he loves, he loves strongly. That's his family, his horses and his farm. He is a stallion lover all the way to his bones. He can handle a stallion like no one else I have ever seen. He just clicks with them. All of his stallions are individuals and he knows that and treats them as individuals and they love him for it. If the saying " A man's home is his castle" was ever true, it is with Tim. Any horse on his farm is treated like his own whether it really is or not. We have many paddocks and pastures here and I have seen him switch horses around and around half of the morning just to make sure each one is comfortable and happy before he moves on to the next chore. Tim is the motivator of this business. He loves to talk about his stallions and talk with people about their horses. People catch his excitement when they talk with him. He really loves what Excalibur Breeding Center is all about and it shows in everything he does. I've heard him say many times, "If you help enough people get what they want, you will get what you want." He believes that.
What Tim says about Brenda:
Brenda and I have been together since high school. She got her first horse as a Christmas present and it was love from there on. She can look at a horse and see what problem they may be having. She knows the heart and soul of a horse better then anyone I have ever met. I have been blessed with being with her for over 32 years and we will have many more to come. It was both of our dreams to some day be able to be here full time.
In the fall of 2003 she did just that, now we are able to be together and work at what we love. She is dedicated to the comfort of every horse that we own and that comes here to the farm and she is the focal point of the entire business. You can come here at any time of the day and find her taking foals and mares out that need special feeding or on the phone at 1 in morning with a worried mare owner explaining what her new born foal should be doing. I have never seen a more patient person in my life and those of you that know me, will say she must be a saint to live with me. Our love for each other has only grown over the years and much of it is due to our common bound of the horses. Tim
