Douwke G. is a 17 hand, KFPS Ster stallion. He was imported from the Netherlands and is a son of the Preferent stallion Teunis 332, from which he gets his height and elegant movement. He has a full pedigree with Model, Preferent and many many Ster in his pedigree. He himself is a Ster and was invited to the KFPS Stallion Show when he was three years old. He is trained in dressage and has the elegant sport type build.
He has a very low 1.95% coefficient number. He is an excellent candidate to breed to your Friesian mare but is available to all breeds of mares. He has proven that he sires very tall, dressage moving, type foals that look so much like him you could easily pick them out of a pasture of 20 foals.
Douwke has a very gentle nature, amazing gaits.... especially his canter which is not easily found in the Friesian breed. He is registered FPS and Friesian Blood Horse and is a Sanctioned Stallion in the FBHR registry. These photos enlarge when clicked.
